SO AS YOU KNOW THE PARK SERVES OUR COMMUNITY AND HAS A VARIETY OF AMENITIES THERE ARE FOUR MULTIPURPOSE FIELDS, TWO OF THOSE WERE RECENTLY DONE TO BE EXPANDED TO FULL REGULATION SIZE. OUR PICKLE BALL COURTS, ALSO RECENTLY EXPANDED FROM FOUR TO NUMB SIX COURTS.

WE HAVE SOME EXISTING PARKING AREAS THAT CURRENTLY EXISTS OF 283 SPACES IS WHERE WE ARE AT TODAY THIS INCLUDES 18 SPACES THAT WE JUST RENOVATED THE PARKING LOT IN THAT AREA.

PICNIC AND PAVILION AREAS AND A COUPLE PLAYGROUNDS AT THE SPARK AS YOU KNOW THERE HAS BEEN CONCERN IN REGARD TO PARKING ADJACENT TO THE PARK. MOST SEEN AS PARKING NEW THE BASKETBALL COURT AREA TOWARD THAT END OF THE PARK FROM TOWARD THAT END OF THE PARK FROM FEBRUARY 1, MARCH 17 DOING SOME OBSERVATIONS IN REGARDS TO THE DIFFERENT DAYS AND HOW MANY CARS ARE PARKED WANTED TO EMPHASIZE THIS KIND OF IS ONE OF OUR PEAK SEASONS. THE BOTTOM PARKING SPACES ARE FACING INTO THE NEW MULTIPURPOSE FIELDS.

THREE TREE IMPACTS THAT WOULD NEED TO BE REMOVED SIGNIFICANTLY IMPACTS THE GREEN SPACE.

HERE IS THE RENDERING OF THAT ALTERNATIVE ONE LOOKING WEST THAT PAVILION THE TOP MIDDLE OF THE SCREEN IS WHERE THE LARGE PAVILION WAS THAT WE POINTED OUT IN THAT AERIAL.

IT COSTS SIGNIFICANTLY LESS THAN THE ALTERNATIVE ONE. EVEN IF WE PUT 100 MORE SPACES STILL PEOPLE PARKING ON THE STREET OR OFF THE STREET, FOR PEER CONVENIENCE PURPOSES.

ESPECIALLY IN BASKETBALL SEASON, THE PARKING LOT IS CROWDED. A TON OF CARS ON HILLSBORO.

YOU HAVE A TON OF CARS. UNLESS WE CAN FIGURE OUT A WAY WHETHER PUSHING A FENCE TO THE STREET LEVEL OR RAISING, PROBABLY NEED TO BE REDONE. I DO NOT KNOW IF THERE IS AWAY UNTIL YOU FIX THAT PROBLEM I DO NOT THINK YOU GET RID OF THE STREET PARKING. EVEN IF THERE ARE EMPTY SPOTS INSIDE. I AM NOT SAYING IT IS ONE OR THE OTHER BUT FIGURE OUT A SOLUTION TO STOP PEOPLE FROM PARKING BECAUSE IT PROBABLY IS THE ONLY PARK IN THE CITY THAT HAS THIS ISSUE WHERE NOT ONLY IS THERE IMMEDIATE ACCESS FROM THE STREET BUT NO CURB, NO SIDEWALK NOTHING THAT IS PREVENTING SOMEONE FROM POPPING UP THERE.

HAVING PEOPLE PARK ON HILLSBORO IS NOT GOOD.

ONE OF THE THINGS WE HAVE TO UNDERSTAND NOW THAT WE MADE THOSE FIELDS REGULATION THERE IS GOING TO BE MUCH GREATER USAGE THAN THERE WAS. MORE OF A NEED FOR PARKING THAN THERE WAS PREVIOUSLY. NOW USED ALL THE TIME FOR GAMES I DO NOT DISAGREE WITH THE TREES AND ALL THAT STUFF FOR ME IT COMES DOWN TO SAFETY WE HAVE TO PROVIDE PARKING FOR PEOPLE TO MAKE SURE THEY HAVE SOMEWHERE TO GO.

TO THE VICE MAYOR! ONCE WE DO PROVIDE ENOUGH PARKING, WE NEED TO DETER PEOPLE FROM ARKING.
