IT WILL INCLUDE ARTIFICIAL FIELDS THE DESIGN HAS BEEN COMPLETED AND THE PROJECT BID CLOSES ON FEBRUARY 1 AND CONSTRUCTION IS INTO SLATED FOR APRIL.

PINE TRAILS PARK FIELD THREE IS GOING TO BE MADE INTO AN ARTIFICIAL FIELD. THAT'S GOOD FOR COMMERCIAL APPROVAL FORENGINEERING SERVICES .

THE CONVERSATION IS SCHEDULED FOR JANUARY 12.

IF IT GETS APPROVED TO BE COMPLETED IN MARCH OR APRIL OF 2022. THUS THE FIELD THREE.

>> IT WILL START THE SUMMER AND COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING SPRING?

>> CONSTRUCTION WILL START IN THE SUMMER, YES.

>> THE DESIGN STARTS.

>> IF EVERYTHING IS APPROVED WITH THE DESIGN.

>> THE DESIGN WILL BE APPROVED IN MARCH AND CONSTRUCTION STARTS IN SUMMER.

>> CONSTRUCTION WILL START JUNE 2022.

IF THE DESIGN GOES THROUGH. PINE TRAILS PARK PLAYGROUND BASICALLY THIS IS PART OF HER INTRA-STRUCTURE REPLACEMENT PLAN. THAT FRONT PLAYGROUND A LOT OF THOSE STRUCTURES ARE DUE TO BE REPLACED .

SO, WE ARE GOING TO THAT NOW, THE DESIGN KICKED OFF IN DECEMBER. SCHEDULED TO BE COMPLETED FEBRUARY OR MARCH AND CONSTRUCTION WILL START AUGUST OR SEPTEMBER 2022. BASICALLY, THOSE FRONT PLAYGROUND THERE THOSE STRUCTURES WILL BE REPLACED AS WELL AS WE ARE GOING TO MATCH THE FLOOR LIKE TERRAMAR.

>> WILL THE ENTIRE PARK BE CLOSED OR JUST THE FRONT?

>> THAT IS PART OF THE DISCUSSION NOW.

THAT IS WHAT WE ARE LOOKING AT ONCE WE FIND OUT WHO WINS THE BID WE WILL TRY TO PUT A TEMPORARY FENCE UP.

OBVIOUSLY, AT SOME POINT IT WILL HAVE TO BE PUT IN AND THAT WILL BE THE WHOLE PLAYGROUND. BUT DURING THE INITIAL STUFF JUST THAT ONE PLACE. IF WE CAN, WE ARE GOING TO.

UT I CANNOT GUARANTEE IT WILL BE.

>> QUESTION FOR TENNIS COURT NUMBER SEVEN IN TERRAMAR.

>> I DO NOT.

>> PARKS AND REC MANAGER, I SPOKE WITH OUR PUBLIC WORKS PARK SUPERINTENDENT RACHEL LAST WEEK HE TRY TO GET A COMPANY OUT THERE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. I THINK HE WAS HAVING A PROBLEM TRYING TO GET THE POLE THAT GOES ON THAT, THAT WAS THE ISSUE. BUT HOPING WITHIN THE NEXT COUPLE OF WEEKS ALTHOUGH IT'S BEEN DOWN FOR A LITTLE BIT NOW.

IN THE NEXT COUPLE OF WEEKS I WILL LET YOU KNOW WHEN IT WILL BE READY. I WILL LET YOU KNOW, AS WELL.

>> PERFECT, THANK YOU.

>> THANK YOU, EVERYONE.

>> MOVING ON, SPONSORSHIP POLICY REVIEW COMMITTEE.

DOES EVERYONE HAVE A COPY? OH MY GOSH, ALL RIGHT, SO LET'S BACK UP ONE TO C MEETING DATES. YOU GUYS HAVE THAT WE JUST NEED A MOTION TO APPROVE.

[00:25:01]

>> SO MOVED. ON THE PROPOSED DATES.

>> AND THE BACKUP THERE'S THE DATES FOR THE YEAR.

>> IF YOU SCROLL YOU WILL SEE THEM.

>> ANYONE NEED A HARD COPY?

>> THE PROPOSED DATES ARE MONDAY, MARCH7 , MONDAY, MAY 2, JULY 18, SEPTEMBER 19, AND NOVEMBER 7. IF THOSE DATES LOOK GOOD.

>> I KNOW IN THE PAST WE MADE THAT JULY MEETING LIKE A MAYBE MEETING BECAUSE OF HOLIDAY TRAVEL.

BUT, I DON'T KNOW IF THAT IS NORMAL OR IF THERE WAS SOME AND WHO WAS ACTUALLY OUT LAST YEAR. I THINK IT'S PROBABLY FINE TO LEAVE AS IS.

>> IF THEY'RE NOT ANY PRESSING AGENDA ITEMS.

>> WE WOULD NEED A MOTION TO APPROVE.

>> I WILL MAKE A MOTION.

>> WE HAVE A MOTION.

>> SECOND.

>> ALL THOSE IN FAVOR.

>> AYE.

>> UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED. MOVING ON TO THE NEXT AGENDA ITEM THE SPONSORSHIP POLICY REVIEW COMMITTEE.

>> SCOTT HARRISON, PARKS AND REC MANAGER.

THE SPONSORSHIP POLICY REVIEW COMMITTEE YOU HAVE THE CURRENT ADMINISTRATIVE POLICY FOR THE SPONSORSHIPS OF THE CITY.

WHAT WE ARE ASKING OF THE ADVISORY BOARD IS TO FORM A COMMITTEE SIMILAR TO REVIEW THIS SPONSORSHIP POLICY WITH STAFF AND MAKE CHANGES THAT YOU FEEL WOULD BE NECESSARY.

RIGHT NOW, WE NEED A MOTION TO FORM A COMMITTEE AS WELL AS A MOTION TO SELECT A CHAIR. THIS ISN'T TO DIG INTO THE CURRENT POLICY RIGHT NOW OR DISCUSS IT IT'S JUST A COMMITTEE AT A LATER DATE TO DISCUSS IT.

WE WILL TAKE THOSE NAMES AND GET BACK TOYOU GUYS .

X FIRST, WE WOULD OPEN A DISCUSSION WHICH AWARD NUMBERS WANT TO BE ON THAT COMMITTEE.

>> JUST LIKE ANY POLICY THE TIME IT HAS GONE ON FROM WHEN IT HAS BEEN EXAMINED OR LOOKED AT HAS BEEN A WHILE.

SO THAT WILL BE PART OF THOSE MEETINGS WE WILL JUMP INTO THOSE WITH STAFF ON THOSE THINGSTHAT WE NEED TO LOOK AT .

>> A REVIEW OF THE GUIDELINES, POLICIES AND PROCEDURES.

IT MAY OR MAY NOT BE NEEDED BUT THIS WAY THE POLICIES WILL BE IN PLACE AND THEY WILL MAKE RECOGNITIONS IF NEEDED.

>> DO WE HAVE A NUMBER OF HOW MANY WE NEED?

>> I WOULD SAY MORE THAN ONE.

>> LAST TIME WE EVENELICITED OUTSIDE HELP .

>> EXACT SAME AS ANY COMMITTEE WE WOULD FORM WITH THE CHAIRS THAT ARE PART OF THIS BOARD AND THEN THERE WOULD BE A PUBLIC MEETING.

>> WE NEED VOLUNTEERS.

>> WE HAVE ONE, TO OVERHEAR.

>> I HAVE ALREADY SHARED ONE AND I WILL NOT WANT TO TAKE THE PRIVILEGE AWAY FROM ANY BOARD MEMBERS.

>> I WOULD MOST DEFINITELY NOMINATE ROBERT BRENNAN BECAUSE HE IS NOT HERE. I THINK HE WOULD BE A GOOD PERSON FOR THE SPONSORSHIP.

>> WE JUST NEED A MOTION TO APPROVE AN EVER WANT TO AGREE ON IT.

>> I WILL MAKE A MOTION TO MAKE US SPONSORSHIP POLICY REVIEW COMMITTEE.

>> WE NEED A MOTION FOR THE MEMBERS TO FORM THE COMMITTEE.

[00:30:04]

>> SO, A MOTION TO FORM A SPONSORSHIP POLICY REVIEW COMMITTEE.

>> SECON

>> WITH DAVID AND LEO.

>> STILL SECONDED.

>> BRIAN. I AM A SITTING LOW IN MY CHAIR I KNOW IT'S HARD TO TELL HOW BIG I AM.

>> ALL THOSE IN FAVOR.

>> AYE.

>> MOTION APPROVED. WE HAVE ALL THE COMMITTEE MEMBERS AT THIS MEETING?WITH ONE BEING ABSENT.

>> BRIAN IS RECUSING HIMSELF AS A SPONSOR, I WOULD RECUSE MYSELF FROM THE SPONSORSHIP.

>> ROBERT, DAVID, LEO?

>> NOW I NEED A MOTION FOR THE CHAIR.

>> ALL THOSE IN FAVOR.

>> AYE.

>> PERFECT, CONGRATULATIONS.

[9. Old Business]

>> OKAY, I THINK WE ARE GOOD ON THAT ONE.

>> OKAY, WE ARE MOVING ON TO OLD BUSINESS.

>> 60TH ANNIVERSARY SALVATION OF PARKLAND DAYS.

OUR LAST MEETING WE DISCUSSED ABOUT SPONSORSHIPS.

WE TALKED THOROUGHLY ABOUT THAT AND WE PUT TOGETHER SOME IDEAS AND A COUPLE OF THE COMMITTEE MEMBERS WANT TO GO HOME AND PUT TOGETHER A PACKAGE THAT WAS RECENTLY SENT TO US.

WE WILL REVIEW THAT AND LOOK AT THAT AND GET BACK TO THE GROUP AND HOPEFULLY BEFORE THE NEXT MEETING WHICH IS GENERALLY 26TH WE WILL HAVE THAT SOLIDIFIED SO WE HAVE THAT FOR YOUR REVIEW.

IT'S MARCH 11, 20 JORDAN ISROW. WE ESTABLISHED THAT IN THE PARADE ROUTE. OUR NEXT MEETING WILL DIVE INTO MORE SPECIFICS ON TIMELINE OF THE EVENT AND WHAT WILL GO ON.

I DON'T KNOW IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO SAY ANYTHING IN REGARDS TO THE CHAIR. WE NEED A MOTION FOR THE CHAIR.

>> JUST INFORMED EVERYBODY, MY LEVEL OF COMMITMENT I COULD NOT FULL ON COMMIT THROUGH 2023 THERE ARE THINGS OF MY FAMILY AND MY CHILDREN I JUST DID NOT FEEL IT WAS FAIR TO BE IN THAT POSITION UNKNOWING WHAT WILL HAPPEN IN THE NEXT YEAR.I WANT TO BE ABLE TO GIVE ONE A PERCENT AND I THOUGHT IT WAS RIGHT TO NOT LET YOU KNOW I MIGHT BE UP AGAIN SOMETHING LATER DOWN THE ROAD. WITH THAT SAID, I NEED TO REPLACE MY POSITION.

>> THANK YOU FOR THE TIME YOU CONTRIBUTED, IT WAS GREAT.

YOU WILL BE MISSED. BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN YOU CAN'T ALWAYS VOLUNTEER.

>> CAN WE GET MORE OF AN UPDATE AS FAR AS WHERE WE ARE AT INTO THE PLANNING PROCESS?

>> WE ARE PRETTY FAR OUT BUT IS FAST APPROACHING.

AS I SAID, THE DATE IS ESTABLISHED, THE PARADE ROUTE IS ESTABLISHED IT IS THE 60TH BIRTHDAY OF THE CITY.

SO THAT IS THE THEME WE DISCUSSED.

THE SPONSORSHIP PACKAGE THAT WAS PUT TOGETHER IS VERY THOROUGH AND FROM YOUR TOP LEVEL SPONSOR THE GRAND MARSHAL OF THE PARADE, THAT IS KIND OF WHAT WE ARE LOOKING AT NOW AND WHAT EACH OF THOSE SPONSOR LEVELS WILL GET, VERY SIMILAR TO WHAT NICK PUT TOGETHER FOR ALL OF OUR EVENTS.

KIND OF MAKE IT SPECIFIC JUST TO THIS ONE BIG EVENT.

AND HOPEFULLY BY OUR NEXT MEETING WE WILL HAVE THAT ESTABLISHED AND SOLIDIFIED OR AT LEAST WILL GET IT DONE.

AND THEN AT THE MEETING, SO BASICALLY WHAT WE'VE ALREADY DISCUSSED IN REGARDS TO PARKLAND DAYS AND HOW THIS WOULD LOOK ON THAT DAY, MARCH 11, IT WILL BE A PARADE IN THE MORNING AND THROUGH THE DAY WITH THE FESTIVAL THROUGH THE NIGHT. VERY SIMILAR IF YOU LOOK AT OTHER CITIES THAT HAVE THESE TYPES OF FESTIVALS HAVE A PARADE IN THE MORNING, A BREAK IN BETWEEN, AND THEN THEY GET INTO A FESTIVAL LIKE TASTE OF PARKLAND WITH YOUR BUSINESSES, SPONSORSHIPS, KIDS ZONE , CONCERT, LIKE A HEADLINER TYPE OF THING. WE DISCUSSED FIREWORKS WE DO

[00:35:03]

NOT FEEL THAT WOULD BE AN OPTION.

BUT, A LASER LIGHT SHOW MIGHT BE SOMETHING WE CAN LOOK AT.

BUT BASICALLY OUR NEXT MEETING WILL DIVE INTO THE TIMELINE OF WHEN THINGS WILL START AND FINISH.

AND THAT BASICALLY SUMS UP. I MEAN, WE HAVEN'T BEEN MEETIN , I WOULD SAY, MONTHLY TO BIMONTHLY.

IT IS A COMMITMENT THOSE THAT ARE ON THE COMMITTEE RIGHT NOW HAVE VOICED THAT. IT IS ENJOYABLE, WE HAVE FUN, WE GET TOGETHER AND WE CAN BE THE VOICE OF THE EVENT AND WHAT IS GOING ON AND BE THE SPOKESPERSON ON WHAT IS GOING ON. THIS COMMITTEE IS NOT NECESSARILY LIKE IN CHARGE OF THE ENTIRE EVENT.

THEY ARE KIND OF GUIDING THE EVENT WITH STAFF AND WE WILL VOLUNTEER MAYBE ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT AND THE STEPS LEADING UP AND SOLICIT VOLUNTEERS, AS WELL.

IT'S NOT GOING TO BE JUST ON THE SHOULDERS OF THE COMMITTEE TO MAKE SURETHIS GOES ON .

>> WE WILL NOT BE MANAGING LOGISTICS.

JUST BETWEEN THE OPERATIONAL STUFF.

HIRING MORE PEOPLE AND GETTING MORE PEOPLE LIKE OUTREACH FOR SPONSORS, GETTING DEMANDS BANDS FOR THE EVENT, SETTING UP THE VIP.

>> DO YOU FEEL, SCOTT, THAT IT WOULD BE BETTER TO GET SOMEONE ON THE COMMITTEE TO SUPPORT TO STEP UP AND BE THE CHAIR AND READ FILL IN THE MEMBER COMMITTEE? BECAUSE THEY WOULD HAVEA BETTER IDEA OF WHAT IS GOING ON .

>> I WOULD SAY OBVIOUSLY THE PEOPLE THAT ARE IN IT KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON . SO ANYONE THAT'S CURRENTLY IN IT, STEPPING UP TO THE CHAIR, THAT LEAVES PEOPLE APPEAR NOW THAT ARE ON YOUR CURRENTLY. WE HAVE PEOPLE FROM THE PUBLIC THAT ARE PART OF IT OBVIOUSLY, THEY CANNOT BE THE CHAIR SO THAT TAKES THAT OUT.

>> THE FIRST THING IS WE WOULD NEED TO GET ADDITIONAL BOARD MEMBER TO COME ON BOARD.

>> NOT TO SAY THERE NEEDS TO BE ONE THERE COULD BE MORE, RIGHT? AND THEN WE COULD GO FROM THERE.

THIS IS OUR 60TH BIRTHDAY.

>> I WOULD SAY THE CHAIR IS NOT NECESSARILY THE EVENT COORDINATOR IF WE HAVE THAT.

>> THE CHAIR IS MAKE SURE EVERYTHING.

>> BASICALLY THE SPOKESPERSON FOR THE COMMITTEE KNOWING WHEN THE MEETINGS ARE.

>> AND REPORTING BACK.

>> YES, JUST WHAT WE ARE TALKING ABOUT WOULD BE RECORDED AT THESE MEETINGS.

>> YOU ARE ON THE BOARD, DO YOU WANT TO COME ON BOARD?

>> I WOULD LOVE TO BUT I HAVE 165 GIRLS I HAVE TO BE WRANGLING OVER THE NEXT SIX MONTHS SO IDON'T KNOW HOW MUCH TIME I WOULD BE ABLE TO COMMIT TO MONTHLY MEETINGS .

I WILL BE HAPPY TO BE INVOLVED IN ANY WAY I CAN.

>> DO WE NEED A MOTION FOR THIS?

>> A MOTION FOR THE ADDITIONAL BOARD MEMBER.

>> LET'S GET THEM ON.

>> WHO ARE WE ADDING? MYSELF AND LEO.AKE A MOTION THAT WE BE ADDED TO THE COMMITTEE.

>> ALL THOSE IN FAVOR.

>> AYE.

>> WELCOME ABOARD. SO NOW THAT YOU GUYS ARE ON BOARD I NOMINATE LEO GORDON AS THE CHAIR.

>> QUICK TO JUMP ON THAT SECONDS.

>> I DO REMEMBER THAT LEO SAID HE WOULD BE A GREAT CHAIR FOR OUR PREVIOUS COMMITTEE SO I'M RETURNING THE FAVOR, SIR .

[00:40:02]

I BELIEVE YOU HAVE THE QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED SO INTERTWINED IN THE COMMUNITY YOU BE ANEXCELLENT PERSON TO HELP LEAD THE CELEBRATION OF OUR 60TH BIRTHDAY .

>> I WILL DO IT.

>> MOTION.

>> SECOND.

>> ALL THOSE IN FAVOR. NEXT AYE.

>> AWESOME, WELCOME ABOARD.

[10. Comments from Staff]

>> ANY ADDITIONAL COMMENTS FROM THE STAFF? OKAY, A MOTION TO GET OUT OF HERE.

>> SO MOVED.

>> WE HAVE A MOTIONTO ADJOURN.

>> SECOND.
